Cambridge Youth Lacrosse offers several programs for the 2026 Spring Season:

Important Deadlines
Registration for FGLL Travel Teams closes either when we have reached capacity for the teams offered by grade level OR by January 23rd, 2026, whichever is earliest. We will build a waitlist after a team has reached capacity and will inform families once they are waitlisted whether a team spot is available.
Registration for MYL Travel Teams closes on February 13th.
Early team registration incentives include: an "Early Falcon" discount, jersey personalization, and a guaranteed team roster spot for those that register through January 5th, 2026.
Teams will be filled on a first come, first served basis. We unfortunately had to turn away a number of late registrants last season, so guarantee yourself a roster spot and register early!
Evaluation for MYL/FGLL Select teams will be held prior to the season.

CYL Registration Process
Registration is a two-step process. Please follow these steps:

Verify your athlete's player insurance:
League registration provides insurance coverage for all of our 2026 events!

Future Falcons
Because our program for athletes 7 years old and younger is "in-house" and not affiliated with a league, families may elect to:
use their family insurance for coverage - or -
separately purchase a MYL ($15 for boys) "in-town" membership that covers all lacrosse activities in 2026.
Regardless of the choice, ALL athletes MUST be covered in order to play. Compliance is audited prior to the start of the season.

Consider making a tax-deductible donation to Cambridge Youth Lacrosse

We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, so donations are tax-deductible.
To put costs in perspective, comparable programs in our region charge between $150 and $300 per player, per season.
100% of donations go to equipment, financial aid, or donor-specific designations.
Funds may be donated online or via mail. You can learn about your options here.
Team Jersey Replacement Policy
Registration includes ONE team jersey. If your athlete loses it, you are responsible for it at a replacement cost of $35. Unfortunately, replacement jersey personalization can not be fulfilled easily during the season.
Did you over schedule your children? Did that stray baseball sideline your child for the rest of the season? Are you moving away?
To help families deal with the unforeseen, we offer prorated registration refunds that follow the schedule listed below, less a one-time $6 processing fee:
100% refund prior to April 12th - Game #1.
Prorated refund between April 12th and May 3rd based on an 8 week season (e.g., On May 4th, we would refund your family 50% of your registration fees.)
0% after May 4th, due to the fact that as an organization we will have already committed to expenses associated with operations.
Personalized jerseys (i.e., name on back) can not be refunded after Feb 13th. Families will be charged $35 per jersey because we can not return or reuse them.
In order to be eligible for a refund, families must be in good fiduciary standing with Cambridge Youth Lacrosse and have returned all borrowed equipment and jerseys before refund will be processed.
Refunds take between 5-10 business days to issue back to your card.
Donating Tuition Refunds
Refunds can also be credited as 501(c)(3) donations to Cambridge Youth Lacrosse. Because this is a frictionless internal transaction, we do not need to charge the $6 processing fee. Donations to CYL make equipment and scholarships available to families most in need and are tax-deductible to the full extent of the law.
